What is the IELTS test?
The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is an internationally accepted test of English language competence.
It is used by TAFE colleges, universities to determine students' entry into courses. It is also used to support applications for permanent residency.
Who is this course for?
The IELTS preparation course is for students who:
- Require an IELTS score to gain entry into a TAFE course, VCE or university
- Need to provide evidence of English language proficiency for applications for permanent residency.
About the Program
The IELTS preparation course will help to prepare students for the IELTS test and help to develop the following skill areas: Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing, Test Taking, Time Management.
This is a full time course offered over 10 weeks and is held from 8:30 to 12:45 with a total of 20 hours of face to face instruction. In addition to that, a further 5 hours of Independent Centre classes are also provided.

Fees
Tuition fees are $3100 for a ten week course.

Entry Requirements
Students applying for the IELTS preparation course are required to have an IELTS score of 5.5.
